Galaxy Rasbora / Celestial Pearl Danio (Danio Margaritatus) is a popular fish due to its gorgeous pearl-like markings and its peaceful behavior. They grow to about 2.5cm, making them an ideal nano fish. 

Although a little shy at times, Galaxy Rasboras are beautiful and easy to care for in their ideal water conditions. They have very pretty markings, and identifying females and males is rather easy. They do prefer a calm environment with live plants where they can hide when frightened, but who doesn't? 

They are omnivores and enjoy a variety of fish foods and love our live food selection, so make sure to have plenty of hiding spots for shrimplets because they may eat them if they get hungry enough.  

Since these are social fish, we recommend keeping a minimum 6 together.
